Agriculture software

Farming is facing many challenges in terms of productivity and cost-effectiveness, increasing labor shortage, reliable detection, accurate identification as well as proper quantification of pathogens. These factors need to be kept under control in order to reduce expenditures, trade disruptions, and take care of human health.

Maximizing efficiency and minimizing cost is one of the main principles in agricultural software development. That’s why one of the biggest trends in farming is precision agriculture.

Our team

We develop precision farming solutions that support monitoring and decision-making based on big data and real-time data mining techniques. We have experience in developing software for processing large amounts of data from multiple sensors. We are specialists in IoT integration for analyzing environmental parameters, for example, to analyze environmental impact (Product Environmental Footprint (PEF)) during the transport.

We are experts in remote IoT sensing, AI automation, precision farming, and cloud computing. We can provide you custom-made software for data-driven decisions. By combining IoT-enabled sensors with data analytics we are able to ensure the technology that simplifies daily operations, increases yields and minimizes resource consumption.

Aggregate Farming in the Cloud

Project partners develop solutions for autonomous farming that will allow the integration and cooperation of agriculture Cyber-Physical Systems in real-time to increase efficiency, productivity, animal health, food quality, and reduce farm labor costs. Together with 53 industrial companies and academic partners from 13 European countries DAC works on a technology that will be integrated with farm management software and will support monitoring and decision-making solutions based on big data and real-time data mining techniques.

Population growth, climate change, and labor that has gained a lot of technological attention, from planting and watering crops to health and harvesting, are the driving forces of agriculture technologies development.

Venture capital investment in agriculture technology has grown 370% since 2013, reaching $4.7bn in 2019.

Agriculture IoT market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 15.2% from 2019 to 2027 to reach $32.75 billion by 2027

Precision farming increases ROI, by reducing inputs use and increasing yield amounts and quality.

Software for agriculture

Agriculture software enables farmers to have a view on their land, crops, livestock, or equipment to manage their farms in time- and cost-efficient way. The Internet of Things has transformed the agriculture industry, ensuring accurate and reliable information in real-time. Thanks to combining AI technology, IoT-enabled sensors, and GPS navigation we can plan agricultural work more efficiently and optimize irrigation or fertilizer application processes.

Software tailored to your need will automate processes like monitoring, irrigation, or pest management. It enables you to have real-time data in demand and control your business remotely from any device. Such a solution leads to cost reduction thanks to the optimization of the use of resources and minimizing waste, and increasing yields at the same time.

Technology stack

Sustainable agriculture not only benefits our health but also has a positive impact on the entire planet. With the right data, farmers can choose to deploy less fertilizer, drivers can select fuel-efficient routes and consumers can pro-actively select goods, that have the lowest carbon footprint –  Krzysztof Radecki, CTO.

Product Environmental Footprint

environmental product footprint

Monitoring and control over product environmental footprint along the supply chain. The Product Environmental Footprint Decision Support Tool (PEF-DST) is a module of the information system that provides complex support for all processes and operations in the field of milk transport logistics. Its main goal is to provide the dairy industry with best-in-class tools for reducing logistics costs and supporting effective fleet management. It supports the monitoring of the milk collection process from a network of geographically dispersed suppliers.
